The Royal Oak Inn, Wetton, Staffordshire
Welcome PDF Print E-mail

db_royaloak1The Royal Oak Inn is a pub serving real ale and traditional pub food in the Peak District National Park.

We welcome well behaved dogs in the bar and lounge (but not in the carpeted sun lounge please)

The pub is an unspoilt, characterful freehouse dating back to at least 1760 and is located beside the wonderful scenery of the Manifold Valley in a village called Wetton.

It is within walking distance of local attractions such as Thors Cave, Wetton Mill and the stepping stones at Dovedale and is therefore popular with walkers, campers and cyclists as well as those just wanting to view the sweeping hillside while out on a leisurely drive.

We serve home cooked food and a selection of fine real ales. Currently we often have beers from the local WINCLE brewery as well as beers from Blue Monkey (Giltbrook, Nottingham) and better known national brands. Our food is home cooked, traditional pub grub with good sized portions at reasonable prices. We are particularly well known for our home cooked ham which can be enjpyed either on a large bread roll, or as a meal with eggs, chips, peas and salad. Please see our menu for more information.

We hope to see you soon!
